THE MYSTERY OF THE 7 FLAVORS OF SAPTO TIRTO SPRINGS
Located about 3 kilometers from the center of Karanganyar City, precisely in Pablengan Village, Matesih District, Karanganyar Regency, there is a spring that is considered sacred. The name of this place is Sapta Tirta Pablengan.
As the name suggests, there are seven springs in this 1 hectare area. The seven springs in this area are located close to each other. The closest distance between one spring and another spring is 5 meters while the furthest is 13 meters
Uniquely, even though they are located close to each other, the seven springs here have different contents. Each spring in this area is considered to have different properties. Bleng water, which has a salty taste, is believed to help cure cataracts. Urus-urus water, which is the saltiest spring in this area, is believed to facilitate urination. Next, soda water is believed to help cure internal diseases and lower cholesterol, sugar and uric acid. Kesakten water is believed to increase courage and authority. Warm water is believed to cure skin diseases. Living Water containing sulfur is believed to make you stay young. Meanwhile, the only source of spring water that cannot be consumed is Dead Water. This spring water contains carbon dioxide.
