Meditation in the View of Science Technology

The silhouette of a person meditating when seen with a Positron Emission Topography (PET) brain scanner glows brightly Mindfulness practices and meditation will help us perform better mentally and physically at work. optimize performance to be stronger, faster, smarter and more vibrant.
Mindfulness and meditation are not actually the same thing. They are almost the same, but different. Consciousness is a way of life. Mindfulness means being present in the present and being aware of what you are experiencing physically and emotionally in this space, in this moment without judgment. Meditation, on the other hand, is a formal mind-body practice where you set aside time, on a regular basis, to mentally focus on some type of focal point such as the sound of your breath, a mantra.

something that brings you back to your focus when your mind starts to wander. And it turns out, when you start to live more mindfully when you live in the present more often, whether while meditating, walking in the woods, or paying attention to what you smell and taste while enjoying food
When practicing meditation, you develop a physiological connection between the amygdala (responsible for self-reaction, resistance) and the prefrontal cortex (responsible for our cognitive thoughts). At the same time, over time, these exercises thicken the layer of the corpus callosum, the part of the brain that connects the left and right hemispheres. Many of us spend a lot of time in the more analytical and methodical left side of the brain and less time in the right side of the brain, where passion, empathy, and creativity reside. Thickening the corpus callosum through meditation allows us to experience more of those right-brain emotions. So, the “miracle” of meditation occurs when focused neural pathways , muscles that develop from their original state during meditation strengthen the network between the corpus callosum, prefrontal cortex, and amygdala.

Meditating regularly also shrinks the amygdala, which is a good thing. We don't want the amygdala to disappear completely because we still need to be able to go into fight mode, or silence when faced with a real threat. However, those strong defense mechanisms don't necessarily respond with the same intensity to every surprising, stressful work moment, social media post, road rage incident, or routine stressor. When the amygdala shrinks physiologically, we are able to respond more often and react less frequently, which is a much healthier way to live our lives. improve their performance physically and mentally.  sleep better and deepen their compassion and empathy for themselves and others to develop a strong sense of being able to access their best selves physically, mentally and emotionally.
